Follow the coast linepast Rockaway Park, Belle Harbor and Keponset, and Rockaway Beachbearing well in mind that each of these places probably holds somethingof tbat pleasure which you are seeking. Soon you will see Arverne, thesummer city-by-the sea, whose fame needs little comment here, and Edge-mere, with its hotels and cottages, most all of Avhich have fine views ofthe Time-tried Old Rockaway Famous Far Rockaway is as well-liked to-day as it was twenty yearsago, which is saying a good deal. Literally it is a summer Mecca forthousands, and every month in the year it is a splendid home town, witlithe best educational advantages and all that makes for contented is safe to write its praises. Lawrence, a little further on, is a very fine all-the-year round homespot, and is almost a park by virtue of the remarkable intelligence ofnoted architects in the placing of residences in relation to each much of the same order are Cedarhurst, a favorite community ofthe younger set, near enough to the seashore to be practically on the sea,with an almost ideal train service to the great city, and boasting theRockaway Hunt Club, mention of which is necessary in any recital of 25 Oriental Hotel—Manhattan Beach
