This parasite is known as Blasfoihi': scr/ccd (Dalman), Many scales are destroyed by the Tits {I'driiJa:), especially liy the Blue Tit (Fui-i/s roji'ii/iti.^); but as they also help to spread several of tliese enemies I am afraid that much of the good they do is counter- balanced.
