It is reported that the organization of a corporation to be known as the Great Northern Seed Co. is under way at Wau- sau, Wis. The capital is to be $25,000. The seed store of Charles Cline, Abing- don, 111., now is located in the Foltz building on East Meek street. A building ?on North Jefferson street is used for stor- age. The May business has turned out especially well. The delayed planting season has resulted in a strong finish, keeping the clerks on the jump much later than usual. James Cureie, who is a park commis- sioner at Milwaukee, has joined with a rabbi and an architect on the board in an effort to raise the character of the summer music in the parks—less rag time and more classical. A NEW Canadian seed company has been incorporated, with its principal offices at Wilkie, Sask. The capital is $100,000. Clifford Willes, of Minne- apolis, and Herbert Vanderhoof and J. H. Petit, of Chicago, are among the in- corporators. They will give their atten- tion chiefly to the growing of farm seeds. A CORRESPONDENT at Dows, la., states that E. H. Capellen is making prepara- tions to start a wholesale and retail seed business on his farm in Morgan town- ship.
