"Best Friend" of Charleston, SC is a replica of the original 1830 steam engine which exploded in 1831 when the fireman, annoyed at the sound of escaping steam, covered and sat on the steam release valve. Transported from Atlanta on the pictured truck, it is now housed in a new museum in Charleston.
