Air Force Airman 1st Class Gabriel Neloms, 51st Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels laboratory technician performs tests on JP-8 fuel at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 30 2022. The JP-8 fuel includes icing inhibitor additives which prevent the fuel from freezing during high altitude flights and when extreme cold weather is present. Neloms tested to confirm the fuel contained the proper additive mixture and was safe for aircraft.
