The Survivor Tree at the Oklahoma City National Memorial site of the Alfred P Murrah federal building which was destroyed on April 19, 1995 by a domestic terrorist's bomb killing 168 people. This tree, an American Elm over 100 years old, survived the blast despite heavy damage, and is now honored as part of the memorial.
