Interior of Chapel. Holy Resurrection Cathedral complex (aka Nicholai-do). Designed by Dr. Michael A. Shchurupov, built by Japanese artisans and completed in 1891. It was built on a site in Kanda selected by Archbishop Nicholas (Kasatkin), now St. Nicholas of Japan, the founder of the Orthodox Church in Japan.
