Medical genetics testing. DNA microarray cartridge being loaded into a machine that will be used to analyse the results from this test. A DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) microarray includes thousands of genetic markers assembled in an array, allowing many genetic tests to be carried out simultaneously in parallel.
