M. Meeting of New Dominion Ex- ecutive. ADVANCED LECTURES A special Committee arranging the courses of lectures in animal industry, plant industry and economics. Speakers and sub- jects cannot yet be fully announced. These lectures will be given on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, all day Thursday and all day Friday. No lectures will be given in the evening. The lectures in economics will be open to all. but those in plant and animal industry will be parallel lectures and members can attend either. Six lectures will be given in each sub- ject: one on Tuesday afternoon, one on Wednesday afternoon, and two each on Thursday .and Friday. Professor W. T. Jaekman of Toronto University will give four lectures in rural economics, as follows :- 1. What in rural economics? 2. The Proper Adjustment of Rural and I'rban Industry. '4. Conditions for Permanence or Stabil- ity of Agricultural Population. 4. The Effects of Borrowed Capital. Professor A. Leiteh of the Ontario Agri- cultural College will give two lectures in farm economics, tlie subjects for which have vet to be Dr. Bruce Macallum of Toronto Univers- ity Avill give two lectures on "The Role of the Vitamine in Animal and Plant Nutri- tion'". These will be illustrated with lan- tern slides. The names of other subjects and speak- ers will be announced in the final pro- gramme. The committee is in communica- tion with several prominent workers in the United States. LUNCHEONS AND DINNER ADDRESSES Prominent speakers have been invited to the Convention, and will address the mem- bers on the occasions indicated below.
