EV I;\M IKiK-1 \I \N, a very poetic feeling for Nature, whose essentialbeauties he interprets independently of any the Art Gallery at Leeds there is an excellentexample of his work but one which does not givean adequate idea of his talent. That is beststudied in private collections, and in that withwhich we are here concerned, besides the picturenamed above, A Flemish Mother and her Child,and A Sunny Street, testify to the franksincerity of the artist, a true painter in the bestsense of the word. To do justice to all the numerous pictures ofnote in the Wilson Collection is impossible withinthe limits of this article, but the reproductionof a few of them fortunately makes commentsuperfluous.
