MAYPORT, Fla. (May 4, 2017) – The family of Quartermaster 1st Class Clarence Roach tour the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Roach deployed with Iwo Jima, as a member of Assault Craft Unit 2, during the ship’s 2014-2015 deployment, passed away shortly after returning, on Aug. 26, 2015.
