Peases City Band of Laconia was reorganized in the spring of 1893, withCharles R. Pease as leader and direc-tor. This organization was composedof some of the best musicians in thecity, and at once sprang into popularfavor. It has progressed rapidly, andto-day ranks with the best bands in thestate. It is in a very prosperous condi-tion, having two sets of uniforms, andhas had a new band-room built for itsespecial con-veni ence, andf urn ish ed inmodern stylethroughout.
