Lady Van Eijk (red) / Mystic Van Eijk (pink) Ð both Darwin Hybrid Tulips in The English Garden with its large lake at Keukenhof, Lisse in the south of Holland. The English gardens created by landscape architects Jan David Zocher and his son Louis Paul Zocher in 1857. It has a large lake surrounded with tall trees, sweeping lawns and rows of tulips and other spring flowers. The name, 'Keukenhof', meaning 'Kitchen garden' was created in 1949 It is a 32 hectares (79 acres) site and one of the world's largest gardens and is known as the 'Garden of Europe'.
