NORFOLK, Va. (June 18, 2018) Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77) bag fresh produce for future distribution at the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. As a birthday tribute to the ship's namesake, and representing his famous "Thousand Points of Light" speech, approximately 1,000 GHWB crew members took part in one of the largest single-day community relation (COMREL) events at 44 different locations throughout the Hampton Roads area. George Bush turned 94 on June 12.
