SCENES ABOUT PLAINFIELD POULTRY FARM. THE PLAINFIELD POULTRY FARM. This firm was established in 1888 by Mr. Corby, who is the manager and part owner. Ayear ago it was turned into a stock company,since which time the plant has had a lustygrowth, and is destined to be one of the greatpoultry farms of the future. The farm is located three miles west of Plain- field, a beautiful little city but twent} miles fromNew York, on the New Jersey Central site is one of the best—on a long southernslope, which is interrupted by a slight depression,and then swells over a broad low ridge uponwhich the main poultry buildings are located,then falls away again into the valley, where isthe duck pond, and just beyond the long duckhouse.
