Bulgaria September 24th 2013: English watercolor artist Martin Stephenson from Leeds Yorkshire, was the first English artist to exhibition in Galleries along the Black sea coast, one gallery which regularly shows his work is the Biserra Gallery in Sozopol, Sozopol a major tourist attraction that attracts visitors from many different country's that walk along the cobble streets with traditional wooden house which have inspired him to paint many times. Martin use to draw constantly as a child and can be seen doing live painting demonstrations of one the most icon places of the seaside town which he now calls home the Navel Collage which is across the harbor from his small artist studio. Martin loves Yorkshire and the Yorkshire people, Bulgaria has influenced my watercolor work very much, with its slower pace of life it’s animals, culture and traditions. Being an artist wasn’t on Martin's original plan for semi retirement his family had grown and left the nest he found myself single and selling his business to fund this mad adventure. Finding time to teach adults, children and run painting holidays at his harbor side studio he regular judges art competitions and gives demonstrations in watercolor, Martin was invited to give a demonstration at the international Lukoil 10th Anniversary held at the Sea Gardens in Burgas. © Clifford Norton/Alamy Live News
