The campaign was in association with Juice FM and helped raise vital funds for those people living with cancer in the Merseyside area. The city centre staged a ‘wear a Christmas jumper’ event to launch a month long campaign to create the world’s largest online photo album of people wearing Christmas jumpers. The supermarket chain revealed armloads of novelty jumpers with reindeer, Santa and penguin motifs were flying off shelves and will make up a third of clothing sales this month.
