Rheidol valley, Ceredigion, Wales, UK 29th June 2018 UK Weather: A Wild fire in Rheidol valley, which started on Tuesday 26th June, continues to spread across the valley whilst fire fighters try to contain the blaze by taking water bowsers along the Vale of Rheidol railway track. This is due to it being inaccessible to fire engines as it is on a steep incline of the valley. There had been a helicopter extinguishing the fire during the day, but I was informed it had to leave due to it braking down. The flames are now making their way towards property and additional fire crews have been called in this evening. Credit: Ian Jones/Alamy Live News
