Nearly 140 vehicles are being unloaded from the Maritime Prepositioning Force ship for use in exercise Tandem Thrust Ф97. Tandem Thrust is a combined military training exercise involving 28,000 personnel, 252 aircraft and 43 ships, and is designed to train and Australian staffs in crisis action planning and contingency response operations.
