Mrs. Savage diedMay 16, 1S47. October 12,1848, Mr. Savage married to 1 S32 the church and town hallwere one and the same. But duringMr. Savages ministry the newchurch was built and dedicated onChristmas day, 1S32. On May 19, 1S50, the church andtown celebrated their centennial an-niversary. Many distinguished visit-ors were present. Hon. Isaac Barnesof Boston, a son of Bedford, deliveredthe oration. Rev. Thomas Savage,Dr. P. P. Woodbury, and William.
