A female cleaner, surnamed Yang, looks at the water in the Tuanchenghu Regulating Reservoir, located in the Summer Palace, the terminal project for China's massive south-to-north water diversion project (middle line) in Beijing, China. The Tuanchenghu Regulating reservoir will play a pivotal role in providing west Beijing with water, with the capacity to store over 1 million cubic meters of water. China's south-to-north water diversion project is designed to take water from the Yangtze river system, to meet water shortages in the north. 01-Dec-2014 (Original reportage for Swedish Daily Svenska Dagbladet)
