MAGNESITK During the year 1917, the magnesite marketed by operators inthe province of Quebec totalled 58,340 tons, valued at $729, quantity represents crude, calcined or caustic magnesite, anddead burned or sintered magnesite. Had the magnesite been allmarketed as crude the tonnage would have been about 64,000 tons.
