Kealia yearlings graze the ranch summit before shipping out on cowtainers. The ranch added Charolais Angus genetics to its Hereford foundation to increase carcass size. Moore doesn’t keep the large-framed Charolais heifers for replacements, because the Kealia terrain demands medium-framed cows.
