Anti-Agreement republicans held a commemoration to mark the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Rising in Coalisland, Co Tyrone. The National Republican Commemoration Committee, which in a statement justified "armed revolution," paraded from Clonoe Chapel and made its way into Coalisland town centre and onto St Patricks hall on Barrack Street. Upwards of 1500 people took part including bands from Scotland, Marchers in Period Dress and members of different organizations.
