Thailand, Kanchanaburi, WWII CWGC Cemetery and memorial to those Allied servicemen who died building the Burma-Siam Death Railway


The image was taken at the WWII cemetery in Kanchanaburi that contains the remain or ashes of 7000 allied soldiers from Britain, Australia and the Netherlands that died whilst building the infamous Death Railway from Burma to Siam whilst in the captivity of the Japanese who quite literally worked the men to death along with 100,000 local people.
