Horwich near Bolton, Lancashire Wednesday 26th December, 2012: North West Air Ambulance helicopter crew attends injured female spectator, who had been kicked in the head by a horse, in a field at Rivington where the Holcombe hunt gathered for a Boxing Day event.
Woman spectator injured after a rider fell from a horse which then broke free. The injury occured when attempts where made to capture the horse which kicked out injuring a female in the head, The North West Air Ambulance attended the scene and after giving medical attention evacuated the patient to a local hospital. The Holcombe Hunt at Rivington Barn, near Rivington, on Boxing Day for a noon start.
