Roses and box hedges of the Parterre at Rousham House, Oxfordshire, England.

The stylish Pigeon House (c. 1685) stands amongst the Roses and Box Hedges of the Parterre within the walled garden of Rousham House, Oxfordshire. The gardens at Rousham were designed by William Kent (1685-1748) and are an early example of English landscape design and remains almost as Kent left it.
