Volunteer dog walkers give and receive affection from dogs.

Volunteer dog walker Ken Anders gets a show of appreciation from 2-year-old Charlie on New Year's Day at Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, Arizona, USA. The county run facility paired 210 volunteer walkers with dogs and turned away another 250 walkers due to the large community response to their call for volunteers. Anders said that he came out to help "just because it was the New Year."
