Stripped by the Japs of their clothing, natives of the Philippines find the Yankee liberators generous after the enemy had been driven back from Leyte Island's coast. Here, a group of natives move new bundles of clothing given them by Coast Guardsmen and American soldiers. Some carry them on their heads; those with water buffalo stack theirs on the animals' broad backs.
