Van Bodiove & Bro., '^AiSilT' The warm weather continued during the last week and there was a good supply of stock on hand. However, it is used up almost as fast as it comes in, so that there is no great glut • in the wholesale market. Prices continue about the same as last week. Growers seem to have been holding back white carnations for Mothers' day, for white carnations are in great demand for that day, since they have the fragrance, the purity, the lasting qualities and the firmness which are symbolic of mother- hood. The violet season has been dull in this section, for the flowers were too poor to handle. Nevertheless, regard- less of the lateness of the season, flower buyers are still clamoring for violets. Sweet peas and valley fill the bill for corsages, though pansies and Ward roses are worn a great deal. All roses are in splendid condition, with the ex- ception of Eichmonds, which are not especially good. Snapdragons are prime favorites, with the yellow variety in the lead. There are a few good late ramblers in pots. Both Dorothy Per- kins and Crimson Ramblers
