MORSOPHONE The Morsophone is a little French device ofvery small cost which enables one to learntelegraph receiving very quickly. A set offlat pieces resembling dominoes are used andthese are made of some insulating material andcarry metal plates on the under side representingdots and dashes. The upper side carries onlyan arrow to show the direction for moving thedominoes, and it only remains to move themalong the box over a double contact piece toproduce the Morse signals by closing an electric. Morsophone and Plates domino for each letter or other character of theusual alphabet. WIRELESS TELEPHONE FOR THEEXPERIMENTER A simple system which all amateurs owning awireless station can install with no additionalexpense other than a common telephone trans-mitter, is shown in Figs, i and 2.
