A more precise example of one of themore definite hunting claims is furnishedby the sketch on page 99 (fig. 3), whichis a copy of a sketch-map made by JohnMcEwan, of the Bear River band, showingthe hunting territory of his maternal grand-father Siah (Saya) around Mulgrave his lake and his river are shown, alsothe several stations or camps in the districts,marked with crosses, where he resided whilehunting in the neighborhood.
