Cpl. Nathaniel Klitzke Lopez, an assaultman with Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, moves to a secondary defensive position during a raid exercise on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, on Feb. 9, 2023. The BLT worked with the 31st MEU truck company in order to quickly respond to threats during the training exercise. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
