During the Vietnam War, a CH-53A Sea Stallion helicopter belonging to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron-463 is seen bringing in a sling-load of cargo. In January 1968, this squadron set a record by lifting a total of 4,477 tons of cargo. This photograph was taken by Sergeant Bob Leak and is part of the Defense Department's photo collection.
