ARABIAN GULF (July 16 2016) An F/A-18D Hornet from Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 533 conducts air operations and maritime surface warfare training with the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61). Monterey, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
