Afro-Colombian female students paint a society and environment-related mural on a school wall in Quibdó, Colombia, 5 October 2019. Supervised by a Bogotan street artist named Guache, a group of young activists from Chocó department created a large artwork called “Somos Atrato” (“We are [the river] Atrato”) celebrating the Afro-Colombian heritage and accenting the inherent link between the communities and the river Atrato in the Pacific region of Colombia.
