Withthis machine steel plate up to 15 in. ormore in thickness is cleanly cut with anarrow, smooth kerf, along straight lines, sharp angles or curves, according to thedrawing or pattern. The pantographprinciple is employed, the tracing wheel wheel is responsible for the extremeUclean and accurate cut made; this re-^suits from the steady advance of thecutting torch into the work. The machine is made in two sizes. TheNo. 1A is applicable to small work anddie cutting, within a cutting area of16 in. sq., a circle of 18 in., or a rect-angular form 12 in. by 40 in. by exten-sion of the tracing table. With this ma-chine a drawing or pattern double thesize of the cut to be made is required, The illustration also shows a recentdevelopment in reducing valves and gascontrol brought out by the Davis-liouronville IMPROVED FORM OF OXY-GRAPH - guided along the pattern laid onthe table and drawn to twice the size ofthe desired object. The hand of the operator only servesuide the tracing wheel power forng, it being supplied by a smallmotor which is attached to the tracinghead and which may be connected to theordinary electric light or power universal motor, either direct currentor alternating current is used, with pro-vision for use on either 110 volt or 220volt circuits. The speed of cuttingvaries from 2 in. to 18 in. per minuterecording to the thickness of steel beinucut. The incorporation of a positive feedoy means of the motor-driven tracing the drawing being placed on the tracingtable shown. The No. 2 oxygraph is for larger, heavier work, has a double pantographframe, is fitted with two cutting torchesfor making duplicate cuts at the sametime, the position of the torches andtracing wheel being adjustable, and theentire pantograph frame mo
