A juvenile southern pied babbler (Turdoides bicolor) takes off from a branch alongside an adult bird. Photographed in the eastern part of Etosha national park, Namibia, Southern Africa. Pied babblers are very vocal and are usually found in flocks which show cooperative behaviours like provisioning for the young birds, babysitting, sentinel behaviour and border defense.
