Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit arrive at Ream Naval Base in Cambodia Dec. 11, 2011, as part of a regularly scheduled deployment. The unit came to Cambodia to take part in the Cambodian Maritime Exercise (MAREX) with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. MAREX is an annual peacekeeping and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) exercise designed to prepare Marines and Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to execute HADR missions.
