A stone in Swedenborg Gardens, Tower Hamlets, commemorates the first Swedish church in London.

Inscription on other sides of stone reads: 'HERE STOOD / ULRIKA ELEANORA / THE FIRST SWEDISH CHURCH / IN LONDON / 1728 - 1911' and 'ERECTED TO COMMEMORATE / THE 250th ANNIVERSARY OF / THE SWEDISH CONGREGATION / IN LONDON / 18th JUNE 1960'. An adjacent metal plaque reads: 'RESTORED IN 1997 JOINTLY / BY THE SWEDISH COMMUNITY / IN LONDON AND / LONDON BOROUGH OF / TOWER HAMLETS'.
