Picture: Sylvester McCoy (Dr Who) and Robert Picardo (Star Trek) A Dr Who and Star Trek Doctor to materialise at new Galaxy store in Scottish Capital Two of the most illustrious Doctors in the universe are to appear at the new Galaxy store on Edinburgh's South tomorrow Friday 25th at 5pm. Galaxy shoppers will have the opportunity to meet with the incredible Sylvester McCoy, from Dr Who fame and Robert Picardo, one of the most famous Doctors in the Galaxy from the legendary Star Trek, Voyager. A spokesperson for the new Galaxy venture said: Our fantastic new store in Edinburgh is a veritable 'Hogwarts' feast with an out of this world range of blockbuster tv and movie merchandise on offer for movie and comic super fans. The official merchandise range includes Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvels, Game of Thrones and more.' 'This out of this world retail experience has been incredibly busy and beyond our expectation since we opened last week. Its been a joy to witness the response from the shop visitors. The feedback has been overwhelming. Excited shoppers of all ages and from across the UK and the world have walked through our doors into a all new Galaxy.' 'The Galaxy store isn’t laid out like your usual retail space. We have one room totally dedicated to Star Wars hosting a view as if you were in the Millennium Falcon. Another section is dedicated to superheroes, boosting a New York City yellow cab hanging from the ceiling, as if you were strolling around downtown manhattan. Another section has a very inviting Harry Potter theme.' The first weekend we opened we received some very important Hogwarts mail from some magical owls. Children were delighted to meet the owls.’ The spokesperson added: ‘We chose Edinburgh to launch the first store in our new venture with the well known background to Harry Potter and JK Rowling as a backdrop here in Edinburgh.
