EAST CHINA SEA (May 29, 2017) Sailors assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) heave line to connect a fuel pump during a replenishment-at-sea. Ashland is on patrol in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance partnerships and be a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
