A vermeil cup with ball feet, Nuremberg, circa 1700 Small cup made from partially gilt silver on three ball feet. Three continuous cartouches with chased, engraved and chiselled architectural vedutas, between them fruit festoons. On the bottom assayer's mark, Nuremberg hallmark and rose mark, probably master Wolfgang Rößler, active in Nuremberg in 1682 (cf. Rosenberg, Der Goldschmiede Merkzeichen, no. 4264).
