Doughnuts, bricelets and aniseed bread are the traditional seventh course of a Fribourg Kilbi menu. The Bènichon or Kilbi celebrates the end of agricultural work in the canton of Fribourg. The oldest tradition of today's Bènichon menu dates back to 1852. However, many products are of older origin. Bretzeli are a course of the Fribourg specialty Kilbi.
