This is eminently true of the department of gynecology,for the female organism is peculiarly susceptible to physiologic and pathologicchanges in the general endocrine system. Much of our knowledge gleaned fromthe vast store of experimental and clinical observation in this new line of researchis so contradictory and confusing that space will not permit a comprehensivereview of the subject.
