Use.—This bandage holds its place more firmly thanthe ordinary spiral reversed bandage of the leg, and maybe employed in the treatment of ulcers of the leg in con-junction with strapping, where it is desirable to changethe dressings at infrequent intervals and to allow thepatient to walk about during the course of treatment. RECURRENT BANDAGE OF STUMP. 85 Application.—Fix the initial extremity of the rollerby two circular turns around the penis close to the pubis;then carry the bandage obliquely down to the coronaglandis; from this point ascend the body of the penis byspiral reversed turns to the pubis and finish the bandageby two figure-of-eight turns around the neck of the scrotumand root of the penis; split the end of the bandage so asto form two tails and secure it by tying these around theroot of the penis.
