Vanderpoel as a memorial to his grand-mother, Mrs. William Curtis Noyes, but he died before itscompletion, and the work was carried on by Mr. Vanderpoelsmother, Mrs. John Vanderpoel of New York and Northstreet, Litchfield. The beautiful Tiffany window was placedthere by Mr. Vanderpoels widow as a memorial to him. A large addition under construction for the past twoyears.
