Öresund fixed link crossing between Sweden and Denmark, south of Malmö, Skåne, Sweden.

Opened on 1 July 2000 by Queen Margrethe of Denmark and King Carl Gustaf of Sweden, the link comprises a 4 lane toll motorway and a dual track electrified railway. The central bridge is a 1,092 metre long cable stayed structure with a 490 metre central span, making it the world's longest of its type. This is reached via a 3,739 metre long viaduct on the east, and a 3,014 metre long viaduct on the west. The western viaduct descends to an artificial island, Peberholm, where the road and railway pass into a 4,055 metre long tunnel before rising in the outskirts of Copenhagen.
