Glasgow, UK 4th October 2018, Glasgow City Council will match a near-£180,000 funding award from Transport Scotland to set up an eBike scheme. The 180k cash grant from Transport Scotland will secure ensure 63 new electrically-assisted eBikes with further further £180,000 from Glasgow City Council to be spent on 83 eBike docking stations that will be installed at 21 of the existing. nextbike hire locations already stationed around Glasgow.
