The Italian Chapel, Lamb Holm, Orkney, Scotland


One of Orkney's most popular tourist attractions. The Italian Chapel was built inside two nissen huts during World War Two by a group of Italian prisoners of war who were working on the nearby Churchill barriers (built to prevent a submarine attack in Scapa Flow).
